Travel to Courmayeur, to arrive in time for the Evening Briefing. Your guide will run through safety routines and kit checks, as well as hand out rental equipment for the week, before we go on to a detailed discussion of everyones ambitions for the week, together with the current weather and mountain conditions and how these affect our planning. We’ll also have maps and guidebooks to show you, so if you’ve any further questions or last minute requests, then this is the ideal time to bring them up before we head on to dinner. Transfer from Courmayeur to Bourg Saint Pierre (Switzerland). From where we climb to Velan hut (2642m). 1010m ascent, ~3-3.30hrs. Overnight in the hut.

Climb Mont Velan (3731m ) to enjoy fine descent back to the Valsorey Glacier. From Where go up to Valsorey hut (3037m). 1826m ascent, 11431m descent ~7-8hrs. Overnight in the hut.

From Valsorey hut climb, part with crampons, the Meitin pass (3611m), and other side skiing down to the Panossière hut (2641 mt). 550 m ascent, 970 m descent ~5-6hrs. Very technic day. Overnight in the hut.

From the hut climb the Corbassière glacier to the Combin de Corbassiere summit (3717m), traverse the Panossière pass (3419m) and descending the Boveire Glacier to Bourg Saint Pierre. 1112m ascent, 1775m descent ~6-7hrs. Return to Courmayeur. Overnight in the Valley. End of program
